I am a felt artist, creating high-quality wearable art that is one-of-a-kind and luxurious. Using an ancient textile method, felting, I bond natural fibers together using only hand-friction, soap and water. Felting with methods passed down from antiquity, I create durable, artful wear that is sustainable and truly unique – each piece is meticulously custom crafted to be never repeated.
With every fiber, my work speaks character and individuality.I use natural high quality fibers such as wool, silk and bamboo, sourced whenever possible from local, organic producers. The creation process is unmechanized and devoid of harsh chemicals that would be harmful to the artist or garment wearer.Felting is my conduit of expression: my passion, thoughts and emotions all come through in my work.
